Welcome to Hails Family Farm in Lopez, Pennsylvania.

Our farm is entering a new season of life. We still have a strong emphasis on dairy, but we are expanding in many other areas of sustainable farming production.

We are in the process of building a hydroponic gardening system inside our new greenhouse. The hydroponic produce will complement root crops that are grown outside in mainly raised beds. This will benefit our customers in having fresh organic produce all year long instead of just six months of the year.

We are excited to offer right to your door grassfed dairy products such as yogurt, cheese, and butter. As we partner with local and regional cheesemakers, there will be a variety of cheeses available to you. The cheeses are aged and cured at our farm in Lopez.

Whole fat, creamy yogurt is smooth and delicious with several flavors available.  Two varieties are available to you—American style (spoonable) or the European style (pourable). This yogurt is organic, nutritious, with a high level of probiotics. Organic butter is made in small batches and limited in supply.

Beef will be available in limited supply throughout 2012 as we increase our beef herd. We will have a good supply of natural pork with several new pork products in  2012.

Several other new products are in the making, such as delicious homemade soups.

Look for our products at two farmer’s markets, Clark Park at 43rd and Baltimore Avenue in West Philly every Saturday 10-2 and Bryn Mawr Market, Lancaster Avenue in Bryn Mawr, first and third Saturdays, 10-noon, December through April.

We look forward to serving you in 2012!
